Overview

God’s own Country’’, Kerala is one of the most beautiful state in Southern part of India on the Malabar Coast which blessed with unique geographical features that have made it one of the most sought after tourist destinations in India. The ‘Alleppey Trivandrum Tour’ will give you an opportunity to explore the will give you the chance to explore the most popular destinations of the region such as Alleppey, Quilon, Kovalam, Kanyakumari and Trivandrum. During this tour you will enjoy the stunning locations along with major sightseeing of the places. You will also enjoy the staying in a houseboat in Backwaters. The duration of the tour is 04 nights and 05 days.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Alleppey Sightseeing

Upon arrival in Cochin, meet our representative, after welcome, proceed towards Alleppey.
Alleppey is also known as Alappuzha. It is one of the oldest planned city of the kerala, located about 75 kilometres away from Kochi and about 155 kilometres from Trivandrum. It is one of the popular tourist destination of India. It is famous for backwaters. There are at least six navigable canals in the town. In the east they open to the backwater connecting the city to the mesh of backwater trials, which are abuzz with reinvented kettuvalloms (houseboats). In this fresh and salt water eco system, visitors come to rediscover life lived at a deliciously slow pace.

Upon arrival, check in at your pre-booked luxury houseboat. Rest day is free at leisure. While the houseboat is cruising on the serene backwaters, enjoy the amazing view of paddy fields, coconut grooves and traditional village along with that you may also spot some beautiful birds.

Have your dinner. Overnight stay aboard the houseboat.

Day 2: Alleppey-Quilon (By Road-95 Kilometres) Sightseeing

Today After breakfast, drive to Quilon (Kollam), which is located 95 kilometres away from Alleppey. Kollam is one of the tiny and spectacular town, located on the bank of Ashtamudi Lake. It was ancient trading town for spices.  It is known as cashew processing and coir manufacturing.  It is the one of fourth most popular city of the state of Kerala. Ashtamudi Lake is the known as a gateway to the backwaters of Kerala. Kollam can be seen as sandwiched between the Arabian Sea and Ashtamudi Lake.

On reaching at Quilon, check in at your pre-booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed to visit some popular attractions of the town such as Thevally Palace, Alumkadavu Boat Building Yard, Palaruvi Falls, Thangassery Beach etc. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 3: Quilon-Kovalam (By Road-50 Kilometres) Sightseeing

Post breakfast, proceed to Kovalam, which is located at a distance of 50 kilometres. Kovalam is arguably Kerala’s most popular tourist destination. It is one of the most beautiful beach town located at the shore of Arabian Sea. Three crescent shaped beaches separated by rocky headlands are the main attraction of Kovalam. The meaning of the Kovalam is a grove of coconut trees and as per the name this picturesque town along with the beaches are surrounded by coconut trees. Another enticing feature of the place are the Ayurveda centres cum resorts which can be found dotted around the beaches.

On reaching at Kovalam, check-in at your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed for sightseeing tour of the town, visit popular beaches of Kovalam such as Lighthouse, Samudra and Hawa beach along with the other attractions. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 4: Kovalam-Kanyakumari-Kovalam (By Road-100 Kilometres)

After having an early breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Kanyakumari, formerly known as Cape Comorin. Here explore some popular attractions such as Vivekananda Rock Memorial and other famous temples. In the evening, return to Kovalam. Check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 5: Kovalam-Trivandrum (By Road-16 Kilometres) Sightseeing

Today is the last day of the tour, after having an early breakfast, drive to Trivandrum. On arrival, begin the city excursion covering the prime tourist attractions such as the City Museum, Shri Chitra Art Gallery and Padmanabha Swamy Temple.
